Even though both email addresses are the same with my ebay and paypal accounts I keep getting this message...

The email address you entered isn't associated with an active PayPal account, so although you're able to complete this listing, you can't receive funds. Make sure the email address is correct and matches your active PayPal account. Or, set up a PayPal account soon with this email address.

My paypal account is active I have bought stuff recently and have just checked to make sure and all ok. So why am I getting this message?

Sometimes no matter how hard you look your mind sees what it is expecting to see, not what is actually there so I would log into your Paypal account and copy the email address and then paste it into the listing, if this works then obviously there has been an unseen typo.

If you are still getting the message I would ignore it or call Paypal and ask if there is a problem with that email address. If you have more than one email address linked to your Paypal account you could always try using that, you don't have to use the email address that is showing as the one for payments in your My ebay details.
