Could anyone define "Hand made" when included in a listing description on ebay?

@annies_fancy_dress wrote:Handmade is NOT a flatpack dolls house from China no matter who put it together. They are false advertising.
On another note, are you a member of the "dollhouse and miniature group" (ebay groups) because I applied to join and haven't received an answer yet.
I applied to join about 2 or 3 weeks ago and have had no reply.
I made a couple of "Persian" carpets for a dolls house many years ago and now need advice re scales etc so really wanted to join as I have about 20 or so questions to ask that group.

Hi I_once_was_bump
The most popular size for dolls house colectables is 1/12th scale. This means they are 1/12th the size of the real thing. Hope this helps a little .

l used to visit the dollhouse thread before the forum changed over to this new format. l did hunt it down the other day and yes, said l had to join the board. How sad. Sounds a bit select so l didn't bother trying.
l 'create' 1/12th scale doll houses (for pleasure only) and have just finished my 14th one. Am currently doing a two story one which is a rocking horse factory.
Love making the food. Using Fimo, wood and small spices:
And this is one room of my Book Emporium (made over 1000 little books....never doing that again)

It has been quiet with the change in the forums and a glitch which meant we weren't getting notifications of new members wanting to join, for which I apologise. We are checking in more regularly now so that doesn't happen again.
Anyone interested in miniatures is welcome and we would love more input and inspiration! ๐
