If I have handling time as 2 days and a buyer bought and paid for an item yesterday morning does that mean I should post it by lunchtime Saturday or lunchtime Monday?
(I have gone out once today and most businesses were blacked out and also all traffic lights so I didn't even try going to the PO and instead came home because the temp hit 43 deg C at 1.00 pm.)
I am thinking of increasing the number of days for handling, do you think that would turn off buyers?

Oh thank you, I forgot to change categories when doing the listings.:_|
No wonder I have had no interest in the electric spinner even though it is a bargain at that price.:-(

You can print in greyscale, bump. As long as the bar code is scannable, AP don't care.

I went to the PO this morning (Saturday) and I was still unable to post the parcel because their computers were not working properly so I will have to go back on Monday.X-(
I sent an ebay message to the buyer but it sounds like a really pathetic excuse, blackouts and computer outages for 2 days?? Totally unbelievable.:O

hi Bump, my handling time used to be 5 days then I changed it to three to comply with ebay blurb a couple of months ago and is a guide I think because ebay have a blurb on the listing that reads ,delivery depends on psoting and delivery time or similar...
However circumstances get in the way which sometimes are unavoidable, like the last couple of weeks for me, have been so hectic with family health issues and backwards and forwards to hospital and not to forget the blazing hot days 45.5 yesterday here ..knocks u about a fair bit sometimes..
Although I did receive payments quickly I was very slow to post because of this. Ive emailed my buyers, brought them up to date and apologised, hopefully they leave decent feedback. Like I said handling time is a guide and life gets in the way of streamlined posting ...sometimes.
Cheers
Jen.
