Two of the items I listed have gone through the list and 3 free lists with no sale and 5 views maximum,(no watchers)
They now have 16 and 13 views and 4 and 3 watchers.
They have gone from being nearly invisible to searchable?
So who threw the switch?

.. it is probably the ebay cassinni search engine (otherwise known as can't-see-me) .. people are pretty worn out complaining about the state of affairs with it but it is meant to reward and or punish sellers according to a "secret" ebay algorythm which ebay more or explicitly lays out (but is ostensibly a pack of BS) and says free postage and zero defects and power Seller status will get you a higher rating there (Best Match default) .. there are actually ways to game the stupid thing and get high up in best match which has been shown to help sales eg new accounts with free postage and subtitle would just smash your items right to the top at one stage .. and here is the thing ebay tweaks the algorithm regularly supposedly to make the website a better experience of innovative disruption .. so occasionally Cassinni decides to mix things up and reward or punish as in you been good or you been very bad, very very bad and so you check the top sellers in best match and scratch your head wondering what is going on cause their stars are trashy and have negs throughout their feedback and you just can't work it all out but every so often Cassinni rewards .. is kinda like a poker machine or schizophrenic ..most just soldier on regardless as it is free to list so unless you are running auctions, need to sell fast or running a business then visibility on the site doesn't hurt (obviously if the inverse is true it hurts a lot and could see you in a bankruptcy situation) .. but yeah am tipping that it is Cassinni ..

The rolling blackouts aren't fake! I had a rare Danish brooch listed & 45 minutes out to end of auction time wasn't able to see my ending item. 3 friends when asked (I was frantic at that point) also tried to search for the item by maker, but like me only got one UK seller listing of an item by the same maker. Not my item.
2 weeks later a customer found that item & purchased. Didn't find all the other Danish / Denmark items I had listed at that time. Was using Danish / Denmark as the only search criteria for title line, but mine didn't show! She bought everything I had for a combined parcel when I pointed out I had a lot more items that might be of interest that were listed for sale.
I've had poor sales for Sept & Oct. Despite having TRS & Powerseller status. My daughter who sells mostly books, the hardest catergory to sell, has had more sales than I have in the same timeframe! Though the prior 2 months she had very few sales!
