Have sold an item, buyer wants me to post to a different addrees to the one they have in their ebay

They have a different address in thier ebay account. They actually want me to post it to a Post Office and request it be held for them there (not an actual PO box, just the PO!). I have asked them to change their mailing detail in their ebay account, but so far nothing. What should I do??? Thanks ๐Ÿ™‚ They are paying by direct deposit, haven't got the payment yet.

well if it was me I would just do what the buyer wants - keep the email from them - wait for bank deposit clearance, and post.

there might be all kinds of reasons why they want their parcel sent to a post restante address.    I would send it by the ebay postage label system so I have tracking.

well, if they pay by bank deposit you have nothing to lose, cos they get no buyer protection

It has nothing to do with changing their address in ebay, what they have to do is change the delivery address in checkout before they continue to the make payment page. As long as they do that then that is the only address that will appear on the Paypal transaction and will be the one that qualifies for seller protection.

Of course if they pay by bank deposit or you are sending by a method that does not qualify for protection you may as well just post to the address she requests.
