I have an irrate buyer who complained because it took me two days to send them an invoice after I agreed to combine postage. Although they paid for the items there email was an overeaction and when I asked if they would prefer a refund and not the items they went OTT again. I feel like refunding them and relisting the item. Am I within my rights to do this I know they will give me negative feedback but I really don't want to sell to irrate buyers.

At this point, I would leave it at being a transaction done, send them the items, tracked, as they have paid, and fulfill your side of things.
then put them on your blocked buyers list
http://offer.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?bidderblocklogin&hc=1&hm=v%7F.rp*24de1ad
that way, if you get a neg, you can try to have it removed, if abusive, it should be.
or follow up a neg with a factual, unemotional statement for other buyers to see what really happened.
so, for future buyers, I think it best you complete your part of the contract with this one.

If they have paid you should package the item, and ship via trackable means preferably with signanature on delivery as well. This will give you the best form of protection.
Good luck!

The problem is I do not trust this buyer. Whos to say they won't then complain that it arrived too late or it doesnt match the description. Can I block the buyer after sending so I dont have to take this type odf reaction from them again.

Block them on the link I gave you.
send it tracked so they cannot say they did not get it, with signature required.
if they say it does not match the description, if they paid with Paypal, ask them to go that route then you will get the items back, at their expense, before any refund.
that would probably stop that request, if not true, as they need to cover return shipping.
do not worry, just send the items. Even if it costs you to send in a way to protect yourself here.
if you do not, you will get a justifiable neg saying they paid and you did not send. That will look not great for future buyers to see.
good luck, hopefully all will be well 🙂

Thanks I am relatively new to ebay and your advice has helped a lot. I cant believe there are people out there who just want to rant and rave without justification. They must have sad lives.
