Apparently there are tracking stickers you can buy. But they are only for parcels. I'm still hunting for the easiest way to add tracking to large letters. Without having to go to the expense of registered post.

I think we need a bit more infomation about what you are trying to do
if you are sending items at letter rates, you could register them for $2.95 and that will give you tracking.
If you are sending parcels, all parcels have automatic tracking numbers, you don't need to do anything really.
Using the ebay postage labels is the simpliest way for parcels I find, it gives you a label, you can pay online, and the tracking number is automatically added to your item and an email is sent to you buyer.

FOR SOME REASON MY POST BELOW WAS DELETED - SO I POST IT AGAIN !
Ask Australia Post for Receipted Delivery barcode stickers. They are usually supplied in a roll of 100 for regular business parcel customers and their individual cost applied of around $1.65 each once your parcel is processed and charged for. The barcode is then scanned by the Post office. This provides physical evidence of the parcel being lodged in the delivery system. You can then see the parcel on the Australia Post's tracking webpage and give a link to it to your customer. If you encode the hyperlink properly, they only need to click on the link and it will take them automatically to the Australia Post webpage, bring up the parcel and show where it is or when/where it was signed for.
I tried providing the hyperlink coding here but eBay won't allow it.

I remember Receipted Delivery - years ago. That and Certified Mail. Green stickers yes? Do you mean to say Receipted Delivery is still available at a cheaper price than what Signature on Delivery costs a 'normal' person ($2.95?). Would like more information on this...

For some reason you have managed to post the same thing SIX times.
So your posts weren't deleted.

The OP's listings are for plants.
I had trouble today with making a post, I clicked on post and nothing happened, my post still showing in the post message box. I checked and it did post.
That happened quite a few times on different posts.
