How the heck do I do combined postage?

I haven't sold anything for a while and now trying to do a combined post and I can't figure it out. I am sure it is something simple...

Help!

Dont you just send an invoice and add the postage amount in the box that says postage.

Yup, change the postage total to the amount you want it to be, and do NOT click on the recalculate button.

Ok that must be my problem - I keep hitting that stupid recalculate button and nothing happens! Why is that even there...?

Ebay have been asked for years why they have that silly recalculate button.  I think it's to keep the help boards alive.
