How to edit current listing to have an option for the seller?

A bit hard to put what I need in the description....Anyhow.

I sell on my store a few items that come with a piece of hose. I now have the opton for the buyer to select the colour hose they want. Is there a way to edit my cureent listings to add this option in? So when they buy the item, before checkout they select the colour hose they want and I send it off...As I have multiple listings I need to do this too, re-creating the listings is something I really don't want to do.

If there is no option to add a list of colors then it is not available with that item.

But I do see other people listing items, different to mine but they have a choice of what to get. Like buying hose for example, I have seen listings with an option to select a different size. There must be a way. Surely.

You would need to create new listings and put them in a category that has this option, you won't be able to edit current listings. Not that I am aware of.
