I am attempting to set up an item for sale but cannot edit text

The font size and centering etc are not available to me in setting up an item for sale - I've entered the title and photos but cannot edit/format the description. I have gone into review  but there is no opportunity to edit/format in there either. Help would be much appreciated. Thank you

It is a problem with the latest version of IE.

Try setting your compatibility settings for eBay.

There are numerous threads about this issue; a lot are still on the front page.

Personally, I use Firefox or Chrome. eBay does not like IE.

Don't know if this is related but it could be because you have been automatically switched over to the new 'fast and easy' listing version which is everything but that. I have had terrible problems since I was switched over so contacted ebay and below is their response. I did what they said and am now back to the good old version where I have control of almost everything.

"When you click on the Sell tab when you’re inside your  My eBay page to list an item. There is an option for you to switch back to the old format. Just make sure that you click on the link that says “  Switch to advanced tool “. By doing so, you will then be directed to the old format which has a lot of options made available. The new format was geared to help out new sellers create their ads in the simplest way. "

OOPS! Dave, I nearly forgot my manners. Thank you for the advice which was spot on. Interestingly when I put my subject question on the forum it came up with no responses which is why I activated it.
