We operate two stores. Have been selling for two years or so now.
One of our stores went two straight days this week without a single sale. First time this has happened to us ever.
This store would normally sell around 12-15 items each day. When times were good a few months back.
Views & watchers are way down too. Suggesting low traffic volumes.
We buy our component parts we use to make up our headbands from various factories in China. The distributors there are telling us that their sales are very slow right across the globe. So I don't think its just in Australia. They are talking USA, Canada, UK and Europe.

I think you might be right, that it's slow all over. I collect mineral specimens and I've bought a few things from China over the last couple of months because they have some good mines there for this kind of thing. Quite a few things I have got for starting bid of 99c with 'free' postage and when you look at their sold items for the last few months, some of these items have previously sold for over $US50. Even sellers with paid postage, I've still got for a few US bucks and looking at their sold items, these same ones have sold for a LOT more in the past. I don't know how much their government chips in for the ones that offer 'free postage', but one shipment where I got 12 specimens, with an outlay for $US14, when I converted the amount of Chinese Yuen on the postage label out of curiosity, it came to $US75. That shipment arrived in 5 days, so it certainly didn't come by sea! I also collect Matchbox cars and I have recently got quite a few bargains from the US and England, so I think everyone is feeling the slow time. At first I wondered if it was just Australia and the reason being that it's nearly tax time, but it does seem to be all over at the moment.
