who I have a gut feeling about and not in a good way. How can I block her and make her go away? She has no feedback and is already telling me she has had problems with sellers.
Thank you.

To block them from bidding or buying add their ebay user ID to your blocked buyers list (BBL).
The link to add to your BBL http://offer.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?BidderBlockLogin
Blocking them from contacting you is a bit more tricky. You will need to set your global preferences to stop all blocked buyers from contacting you.
http://offer.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?BuyerBlockPreferences
right down the bottom of this page is an option to tick box for Don't allow blocked buyers to contact me.
That being said, buyers can sneak through the blocks to message you OR start a new ID to purchase from you.

Sounds like the OP has already received a bid on the item, so blocking them will have no effect on that bid, but it will on any subsequent bids - I think the only way out is to cancel the bids on that item and then relist after adding that member to your BBL.
Experienced sellers will hopefully guide you through the best way to set up your BBL's forellie - I'm a buyer only so I'm not completely on top of all selling practices.
"edit" cats maybe you could let the OP know which boxes to tick on the BBL.

You can cancel bids on an auction here http://offer.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?CancelBidShow
I suggest: add buyer to block buyer list first - then if they have already bid on one of your auctions cancel the bid.
You don't need to end a listing to cancel existing bids on an auction.
When you are on the buyer preferences page, there are several preferences that you can set including to block bidders that have unpaid strikes.
Have a look through and if not sure come back to the boards as heaps of posters here who can help you out with screen shots etc.

Just tell them to STOP writing to you
If and when you do receive another message, open it but don't reply, then go back to your messages, underneath that is other options, choose that and click on 'mark as answered' I do this off by heart but when trying to explain I am lost lol. Anyway that's the gist of it - Sandra ๐

I have had a bidder on the modular loungsuite but not from her. I did go to the BBL site and managed to block her, I have only ever had to do it once before so could not remember the process. I would like to have given her the benefit of the doubt, but I just cannot risk her coming to pick it up and then complaining to eBay that it is not what she wanted.
Thank you for your advice.

I have in the past just told buyers not to buy an item.
Eg Thank you for your message. Based on your questions and concerns I really think you would be better off not purchasing this product from us and maybe heading to a physical shop so you can assess quality/colour/whatever-the-heck your concerned about.
This would be the best way to ensure you are aware of exactly what you are purchasing whinging about

Since the prospective buyer has not bid on one of the OP's items and is now on their BBL they should not be able to send any more emails.
If somehow they can then the best thing to do is not reply to them and simply delete any messages.
