......''cos when I'm trying to see a reply to a thread I'm following, which comes through on my email, I'm being told IN PINK 'Access Denied'.  Cleared cache and cookies, rebooted computer - same issue.  Doesn't work on either Firefox or Chrome.   Clues as to why?

I'm definitely logged in but the last two posts to a thread I was following aren't visible to me.

Edit : Just had a thought that maybe the mods removed those last two posts.

Penny, the issues raised by a few members about the poster's actions both on the boards and on the eBay selling platform in regard to policy violations have been reported and no doubt some action will be taken at some stage.

If any of those members who have taken it upon themselves to expose that member for flagrant breaches of policy get slapped then so be it.  I for one will stand by my posts as being as non-judgemental as I could make them, if I have stepped beyond what the Mods see as fair then I will take it on board and cop their decision on the chin.

BUT, when a member has been allowed to continue with the said violations without any apparent action taken against them after repeated reports to the moderators and to eBay, what are we supposed to do?

Just sit back and watch it happen?      Sorry penny, but that is not the way I operate.

Your call padi, but I see no point in fuelling the fire, if everyone just gnored his posts he would lose interest and call it quits.  As things stand I could easily see him filing a complaint of harassment and if the mods reviewed his recent posts I would not be surprised if they indeed saw harassment in some of the responses,  particularly when the same snide comments from the same handful of members appear in all his threads.  Just saying....

To Padi and everyone else who went off topic - It's not the first time and defnitely won't be the last (knowing you lot!!), but happy that you went for it.  It's always great to see a bit of fun happening on the boards.

it would be great to have everyone ignore his silly posts buts its like asking everyone to not slow down and look at an accident.

its in peoples genes to look as its in our genes to comment on stupid posts.

if he makes a formal complaint and the mods look at every post in his posting history they might just see him as a twerp like most of us. they might see how the really helpfull posters tried endlessly to give him help and support to be a better seller only to be treated as jokes. to get called trolls isnt nice after making efforts to give the best advice they could.
