I was using Selling Manger free - now all of a sudden I find I have a $10.95 monthly subscription -

I did not opt in to selling manager pro

and i cant find out how to go back to the free version

can any one help

If you go to My eBay > Account > Subscriptions, you should find the option to change to the non-pro version, or unsubscribe.
