INR Claim 6 months after purchase.

I've received a message from a buyer saying she did not receive her item which she purchased on 24th April. She says her daughter just mentioned it to her recently and that's why she's only just contacted me.

I know occasionally people can order something and then forget about it, however I looked at her fb and she left fb in mid june for 2 other items. Her purchase from me would have still been on her my ebay page as it was within the default 60 days that items remain in your purchase history. Wouldn't she have seen it and messaged me then that she hadn't received it?

The item was for a young girl and was shipped to the same name as the buyer's id so I doubt it was posted to someone at a different address.

I don't mind sending a replacement if she's telling the truth but I also don't want to be cheated if she's lying.

Has anyone else been in this situation and what did you do?

I don't mean to sound harsh but I think it's too late for her to expect u to do anything. Was it an expensive item.
As they can't leave feedback u are fine.
I think if they contacted u earlier that's one thing but u shouldn't be out money for this one.
I would just say that u are sorry to hear that but because of the time frame there is nothing u can do.

IMO it is way to late to expect you to replace it now. It really is the buyers responsibility in this case. They didn't keep track of their purchases.
