INR request for an item buyer hasn't collected from LPO

As the title says, buyer has opened an INR for an item that's awaiting collection from their post office. The item has been awaiting collection for just under 4 weeks and only now contacts me. I've updated tracking to the INR request, but as I haven't had an INR case for ages I'm wondering how ebay will deal with it since they updated their seller protection for INR's a few months ago..

If you are a My Post customer, they hold it for 4 weeks. As per my local Post Master.

Four weeks from 29 June is 27 July. Today.

Not particularly relevant to the OP, wherein the buyer wants the item redirected because they 'can't' get to the PO

UPDATE:

I escalated the case this morning by asking ebay to 'step in'. Case closed in my favour with no refund to the buyer. Thanks to all you guys for the answers 🙂
