And Paypal can be funded by Paypal balance. Which is how my purchases are done.
The only real issue is that accepting Paypal for pickup items leaves you open if there is a chargeback on a CC funded Paypal payment.
The buyer CANNOT claim INR or SNAD, as there is no Paypal buyer protection for pickup items. Nor seller protection, either, refer my previous point.
And it's not only eBay who don't like surcharges for accepting Paypal. Paypal also expressly forbid them.

@bsal6160 wrote:incorrect this way up, you must have a safe payment option, no mention of credit card, as paypal or paymate can be funded from your bank account or vise card.
You can ask anyone that is allways right and they will tell you that I am allways incorrect ๐
Paymate is credit card ONLY... They do not have any other options.
Visa is a credit card but I will probably be incorrect on that too!
What they mean by "safe" is that your credit card number is not given to the seller.
I have not got an issue with safer payment options...But why can I not just have a safe payment option? Why is it compulsory to have a very dangerous payment option like credit card ?

You are continuing to spam threads with incorrect information regarding payment service options on ebay.
For example, I, like hundreds of thousands of others, have a VISA Debit Card - It draws from my own cash - not credit - it is accepted by services such as Paymate and merchants who accept credit card - THERE IS NO CREDIT INVOLVED.
For someone who has such an issue with credit cards, I do not understand why you are not aware of some basics like this.

What do you mean? Who said I am not aware of it?...Oh yeah, you did!
I do not have an "issue" with credit cards. I have an issue with eBay making credit cards a compulsory option of every single item listed.

It is not only against ebay's policy to charge a fee for using Paypal it is against Paypal policy too and could lead to your Paypal account being closed if you are reported.

Totally agree, pj. In fact I believe I mentioned it.
This-wind-up, you seem to confuse credit card with debit card issued by the same provider. Totally different. And undermine your incessant, irrelevant point.
I would have even given cats kudos (noting that there is no such thing as a kudo, regardless of the genius who decided any word ending in 's' is a plural), but I wouldn't want to blow her brains out with two in a week.
