Import duty on goods purchased from another country?

Hi seller from Canada, sold something to a buyer in Australia, just wondering what is your limit that you don't have to pay duty.  In Canada it is $20.  I was just wondering what it was in Australia.

Hi, welcome to the Aussie boards.

The import duty limit is rather higher than in Canada....it cuts in when the item cost is over $1000, including postage.
