Do you mean on the boards?

The date format can be changed in Display settings in your Profile.

My dates are all ok......I changed them on day 1 of using the boards in my settings. You have to remember that eBay is a US based company, so regardless of having a .au suffix, it's still American and will be set up that way.

Where exactly on eBay are you seeing dates in the US format? Bricks is right when he says that you set the date format in your profile so if I were you I'd be inclined to double-check that I'd set them correctly. The fact that eBay is a US-owned company is irrelevant when it comes to how you set your own profile.

By default it's set as the US format. I changed my format in the settings on my first visit to the forums to dd/mm/yyyy, as mentioned in my last post. Mostly because when I was trawling through old posts I wasn't sure if the date (e.g 6/8) was Aug 6 or Jun 8.

Is it too late for me to adjust. If not - how do I do it. Please

By slow you mean slow loading? Yes, that's what I've had happening. I just did the obligatory windoze update (why do they have 20 new updates daily?) and it seems one of their background process was due for an update. It was gobbling up all my CPU. I've installed, rebooted, waited for this background process to do its update thingy and now all seems fine. The other thing I believe was slowing mine down was, the 'trusted installer' process was going a bit haywire. I know it's an essential process for windoze updates, but I have set it to manual start up and now the forum is loading superfast again.
