Hi Everyone,
I'm just new seller and I'm curious if there's a buyer during weekdays as I read in the book that the only best time to post your item is weekend..
Does anyone have luck selling everyday? or too costly?
Need help and advice.. Thanks!

People buy on ebay anytime of the day week or weekends
Worst time to finish an auction is Fri arvo

I think it depends on what items you are selling.
Most like to view large pick up items before bidding or buying. So to include a weekend is a good idea.
Naturally, more members are free to look outside business hours.
I wouldn't list or have them ending on a friday as that is ebay maintenance afternoon/evening.
More importantly is to have good photos and a precise description, as well as being able to answer questions soon after they are asked.

I keep that in mind...Friday is not the best time..Thanks!

. . . as I read in the book that the only best time to post your item is weekend..
what book?
as a casual seller you can list for 1, 3, 5, 7 or 10 day duration. Start a 10 day listing on a weekend and it will not end on a weekend.

I have read on these forums, which are filled with great advice, that finishing a listing on a Sunday night (around 9:30pm) is arguably the best time to start/finish as it's after the kids have gone to bed but (perhaps) before the parents have turned in too.
Different people do sell every hour of the day, every day of the week. Right now I'm running listings that finish mid-week and they seem to be going alright. Aslong as the listing finishes within a relatively popular time for someone to be searching and bidding (e.g. after sunrise to before midnight), it probably doesn't matter what day it starts/finishes. It might have more to do with the item, the price, how it's described, the competition, etc.
You could do a Completed Listings search for similar items you're planning to sell, find ones that did sell and see what day/time they ended on.

I am also a relatively new seller. I've been busiest on Wednesdays and Thursdays sending off items, with bids primarily coming in on the days just prior. I generally sell clothes with 3 day listings, which would make my best day for listing on a Sunday or Monday. But I think it really depends on what you are listing, if it is things like books, DVDs, jewelry I think you probably need longer listing time. Good luck!

I don't think it matters so much when the auction finishes but more about how soon you want payment.
If an auction finishes on Friday, Saturday or Sunday night would you be happy to wait until Thursday for payment?
Thursday is when most of the government money is paid so it is the day most people can afford to pay for purchases.
If you want all buyers to pay within the 4 days allowed by ebay before you can start a dispute then make sure your listings end on a Tuesday night.
At the moment I am only buying items that I can pay for on pension day so if sellers are not able to wait for me to pay then I don't bid on their items.
A lot of buyers do pay immediately but there are times when one has to stick to a budget :_|

After many, many years selling on ebay the only certainty is that their is no consistency in buying trends.
Some years I have done best at the weekends, some through the week, some years best in the evening, some years best through the day and then of course that is just a general trend, there are many variables week to week.
I aim to have at least one auction item ending every day except Friday on the id I use for the 30 free listings and then I have a few auction items on the id that I run my store through, maybe four or five a week finishing on different days.

I sell my items daily. I don't see any difference between weekend and weekdays. But my items are all BIN.
OP, you have store and most of your items are auctions. Maybe it's a good idea to list more items as BIN so buyers who want your items straight away can just buy them on the spot and it also saves your fee. Put link to your store in descriptions for auction items to lure buyers to check your store items.
