Is it possible Ebay could be any more wrong?

A couple of months ago I received an email from Ebay saying that my selling limits have changed (ie decreased) because it appears as if my account is linked to account XXXXXXX (I've not put the actual account name for privacy). I did a quick search in my email for that seller ID. I could see that I've purchased bubble wrap from them twice. That's it. Somehow Ebay think it's my account? **bleep**? Now, that I'm trying to sell again (because our main account has dropped off the map with best match listings), we can't sell because the selling limits are so low. Is there no end to Ebay's incompetence?

Did you bother to talk to eBay about it at the time?

Complete waste of time. Every time I speak to Ebay it's the same cut and paste answers.

eBay is a dynamic, forward thinking progressive business. In answer to your question - of course! Everything is possible with a little effort.

I have another selling account and I hadn't used it for a few months. I had never had any selling limits but when I went to use it again I had limits of 10 items. Ugh I was shocked. Anyway, I phoned Ebay and they were immediately lifted up to 5,000 listings which is more than I would ever need. It's a pain, but it is worth phoning. But also I now realise that I will never let that ID lapse because it is good to have a backup. I like to sometimes sell other things on the other ID, things that don't fit in with my beachy stuff, so it's good to have another ID.

The OPs choice of words is very insulting. Why hasn't a mod removed it yet?

The Mods have edited the title of the OP but not all the following posts....just the first few.
