Is it worth my time to try selling casually?

So it's kind of hard not to notice the negativity that overwhelms both sides of this forum.
The general consensus that I've made from the selling point of view is that eBay's policies are making it increasingly difficult and expensive to sell unless you're selling thousands of cheap, imported goods a week.

I work full time and have no real intention of drawing a proper income out of eBay, but mostly to resell some of my games because EB games have a private booth reserved in hell.
My question is; is it really worth my time to photograph them all and write out descriptions when everyone seems to be complaining about a complete lack of sales and/or non payers?

Make your own mind up after reading the Spring Seller Release in the above msg boards. Also read the U.S selling boards to see the results  of this new policy.

That's the nicest thing i can advise for any newby wanting to sell on eBay.

If you are only going to sell games I wouldn't bother, unless they are special editions.  My son sells heaps of them, but does it through facebook and the benefit of that is no fees, no complaints about items not as described or items not received.  They pick the items up and are gone and cash in hand.  Most people buying games are not buying them on ebay or selling them here either.

Thank you both, particularly Kylie as you pretty much confirmed what I had suspected.
