Since about 4pm Friday I have been having problems reading messages in the My Ebay. I keep getting 'page not avaible' and I am having to refresh up to 10x every time I get a new message anyone else having problems?

If you are an Optus user, (as we are) this could be the explanation for all the issues we are experiencing
Thanks for that Betty....I have been experiencing internet connection problems as well slow loading of ebay pages and messages for the last few days. We recently replaced our modem and had to make a number of calls to Optus tech services to get it working. At no time did they tell us that it might be their fault.
I was blaming my poor old computer and the language was getting very blue. Hopefully it will sort itself out in the next 2 days.

I have not been able to log in today at all.
But I did find that if I click on the REPLY button in the email message we receive from buyers that it does log us in and we can then respond. Must be some difference in the URL that is working.
This is pretty bad to be down for this long.

I received a message from a seller this afternoon, which I replied to no problems. I replied on my phone, which was hooked into the home network wifi at the time. I'm not with Optus for phone or internet.
While it's looking like Optus is the common denominator, I'm wondering why it would only be affecting eBay messages and nothing else? Very weird indeed!

am also with Optus and experienced the problems primarily with messages but other functions were sporatically failing to load (dashboard and something else). All seems OK at the mmoment.

had this problem too and I am using Optus Cable. I switched to my Telstra Mobile phone to tether the internet to my PC and surprise, suprise... the message centre worked..
Now to catch up on the 50+ messaged stacked up from not being able to reply back beforehand.

I am thinking it may of been an Optus problem I logged into Ebay at about 2:30am this morning and got 'page unavailable' cursed at Ebay a little then went back to watching scorpion but could not as my Internet was down watched the modem reboot and all was fine Ebay seems to have been working correctly, for me anyway. including messaging.
