Is the sellers dashboard ready?

I got  neg today from a buyer who bought a cheap item (sold as a trail so people could try them out) which IMHO is totally unfair but nothing I can do about it so will suck it up and carry on. I was curious if this showed up in the sellers dashboard as mine has not updated since the start of January and it is there under 'If we evaluated you today' but the strange thing is it is as 'Transactions you cancelled for being out of stock' Now the buyer got them but as they are clearly not happy I refunded the money they paid I am assuming that triggered the out of stock defect I am wondering if I did not refund (I was not asked for a refund) would I have not got the defect if so I got a defect for trying to do the right thing.

do not take me wrong I was 100% expecting a defect just not for 'Transactions you cancelled for being out of stock' it seems to me the system is far from ready to go live which is a bit worrying I think.

Mine is showing the new dashboard but my old defects are still showing. I can only assume they will just drop off after their 12 months are up.

You do still get a defect for out of stock, but not sure why you got one for refunding. Maybe because the buyer didn't request it? I'd be calling eBay and asking if they can remove it as it's pretty obvious the buyer got it, therefore, you weren't out of stock.

Under the old system it could take a few days for a neg defect to appear.

I love how your buyer pays $1 then says they're garbage. What do they expect for $1!

Yes Tippy I have old defects under current this one shows up under 'If we evaluated you today' I may contact Ebay but I think unless I fighht the neg (which is a waste of time I think) I will be getting a defect just shocked it is for out of stock and can not work out why 

Yes sadly after it was up for a while I remember most of the trouble I had when I sold on Ebay before was from low priced $0.01-$1.50 items so stopped the listed to late 😞 

The crazy thing is I put this up as being a male I can not really give this item a good test and am relying on other peoples word so I thought I would put this up so people could try them and then buy if they like them at $1 I lost money on each sale. The buyer who neged me actually bought 3 so I think I made about $0.40 of course now I am $2.60 down lol

One other thing under 'If we evaluated you today' the ones I currently have are not shown just the 1 I got today so I am not sure if we get a clean slat or the older ones are not considered defects under the new system or they will just carry over on the 20th but if I lose the 2 I currently have and just get the 1 new 1 do I see that as a win 🙂

My old ones are showing under the current seller level heading. If you click the down arrow to expand the box, they are in there. I've got one due to drop off on the 21st, so shall see what happens then. All the current defect headings under the new system are all showing at 0% (for now!).

Maybe it is because mine where for returns and each one I sorted out with the buyer, even though one gave me a neg after which I found out that was because paypal took $0.55 out of one lot of money I sent her 😞
