You and Six Shooter above you may have had a different scammer buyer because according to that name, they only registered 20 Aug 2014. The OP posted the original message in July.

My guess they are connected some how though, especially as the email address is the same. They may've had their account shut down after complaints and have now opened a new one.

Do you all have your blocks in place, including preventing blocked buyers from contacting you? If not, there are instructions further up the thread.

Geez, they're quick aren't they? Account only opened today. I hope you didn't respond to it? Do you have blocks in place in your buyer requirements? There are instructions further up this thread on where to create blocks. Also, unless you sell to international locations, make sure you have all overseas countries blocked in your postage preferences.

When setting up your blocks, make sure you tick the box that blocked buyers can't contact you.

I thought that once you used an email address for an account you couldn't use it again? The email address in these scam emails is used by a valid eBay member. Seems that every time they are NARU'd, they just create a new account with the same email address.

Make sure you have buyer requirement blocks in place. It stops these people contacting you or buying from you as they don't verify their accounts usually. There are instructions further up the thread if you're not sure how to set them.

Don't reply to this scammer whatever you do.
