Items relisted (or listed) by themselves (not auto relist)

Hi,

Has this happened to anyone?

I deliberately dont checl the box to auto relist if not sold, as I only list when its free insertions.

But 3 times now, my auctions have relisted anyway.

I am so paranoid about it, daily I check random items (in revise item) and make sure its still not checked to relist.

Plus I go to selling manager and click REMOVE AUTOMATION on all of them.

Now whats stranger is ebay says that these items were not relisted, but listed again. (if that makes sense). And it seems true as they werent listed immediately after the auction ended, but some time later.

I use Garagesale, I was wondering if there is a bug in that...?

I have chased ebay about getting the insertion fees refunded, as I know I did everything I could to make sure I didnt pay listing fees (I am a student and dont sell much, so it makes or breaks me).

At the moment i went in to check if my account had been refunded, and now its showing its on hold or something. I cant access the current invoice. I am assuming theyare looking into it all.

Anyway wondered if anyone had had this strange issue before.

PS- despite this being a relativly new account, I have been selling on ebay for 15 years, and never heard of this before.

I find 40 listings a month is more than enough so of course I take advantage of the free relists, at first I though it was probably a waste of time if nobody bought on the original listing but I have had almost everything I have listed sell before they are no longer out there. For those few items and some others that I have had for a long time I use another id and just put them up for 10 day BIN or best offer.

I have never had an item where the box isn't tcked, I miss the odd one as I have to edit them after they are uploaded as there is no box in Turbo Lister and they have always ended and not been relisted.

Does Garage Sale have an online member to member board or similar where you can ask if other users are experiencing the same problem.

I've had this happen on items I intentionally ended, they relist themselves. The issue started about 4 months ago.

The annoying part is I ended listings that I no longer had stock of, so when they relist themselves, someone buys what I don't have.....Defect!

eBay won't acknowledge the problem, they won't remove my defects either, that's after numerous emails and phone calls.

Not sure if your issue is a similar glitch. As I generally use "Good til cancelled" on all my listings I wouldn't assume they would relist after I end them.

It still happens to this day.

ahh thanks, maybe I am NOT crazy.

I see now they have put a new invoice to me, for full amount. I will fight it.

Only because I am always so careful withy when I list.

Ebay used to be SO easy a decade+ ago.
