I would be interested to know if this has happened to you....
eBay just closed a case and gave a buyer a full refund and the buyer has the product! I am furious.
The buyer opened a case saying they did not have the goods. The tracking stated that the goods were delivered to them the next day. I responded to the case but the buyer never closed the case saying they received the goods. They just ignored it. I asked for ebay to close the case and return my money providing tracking showing delivery. To my horror eBay closed the case and gave the buyer a FULL refund. I generated the tracking label though the eBay system so they can view the address on the label which is the same as the address the buyer entered.
I am totally dumbfounded.
What can I do? Any suggestions?
Thanks

Wednesday
tippy, not always..
remember my case? as a buyer?
IMO, tracking is useless if the delivery doesnt need to be signed for at the receiving end.
..any delivery driver with a scanner, can claim its been delivered, when in fact it hasnt!
I see this on a weekly basis with our delivery driver. I see them just drive past most times. I then check the tracking status an hour or so later and it says attempted delivery, awaiting collection at the PO.
I even saw the driver one day in the next street and asked her if she had anything for me. Her reply was no so I went on. I then checked the tracking that arvo, sure enough. She did but.
She used to just pull up and toot her horn, if I didn't get out there in time she would drive off.
She doesn't even leave a calling card anymore...
Then I found out this driver was leaving and is training a new driver. To my disgust, she did the exact same thing with the new driver and he doesn't even bother with stopping.
When i catch up with the new driver I will be having words and if nothing changes a, another, formal complaint will be made. But like the last lot of complaints I lodged, nothing gets done.
