Listing Design

Hi everyone,

After making some sales on eBay, I've redesigned all my listings from scratch using my HTML knowledge. Any comments and feedbacks are welcome.

Thanks.

If Im being picky there are three things Id fix if possible -

1. In Chrome and Firefox, clicking the links on the menu near the top does nothing. It works in IE.

2. In the header, centre the logo, or fill some of the space to the right.

3. In the main section, theres too much space between the heading and the picture.

Id also add a link to your own website if you have one. Youre not allowed to link to pages that offer direct sales or payment solutions, but you can link to pages for things like tech specifications and warranty info  (people can work out to get to the rest of your website from there ๐Ÿ˜‰ ). ebays policy on links etc is HERE.

Other that that I think they look great. Easy to read with all the info needed, and simple.

Clearly set out and easy to read/understand but it is still no guarantee that your items are going to sell any quicker than they are now.  You just need patience.

Just a couple of things.

The text in the listing very small looking at it on the iPad, smaller than the standard size text elsewhere in eBay.

the links on the top banner are blue on red then once clicked on they change to white, the blue is a lot harder to see on the red banner. Perhaps the other way around would be better

I will fix this, it's to do with different browser compatibility, however It does show white links.

Thanks

I've checked on my PC using Firefox, Chrome, IE and iPad IOS. They all working, you just need to refresh the internet cache and will be working by pressing F5 or clear the cache.

I just checked a few of your listings on my android phone and they look good. The descriptions are set out well for phone users and are easy to read without needing to expand the page. It also covers the whole page without having to keep scrolling left to right and back again which you see on a lot of other sellers pages.

The links were easy to read with the text being white (I often have trouble with red backgrounds). My only suggestion would be one already mentioned and that is to put your logo in the centre. It's still ok where it is though.
