Listing does not appear on search words

I listed "Alpine strawberries" (plants), but when I search for alpine strawberries my listing does not appear. Yes, I have it in the right category.

What else could go wrong? I searched under Alpine strawberries and strawberry plant - nothing.

If it's a new listing, it can take some time to appear in the results. 

Usually within an hour or so, but can take longer.

Also as you are a fairly new seller it could take upto 24 hrs.

Not sure if your previous listings took that long?

when you creat a listing you click on 'list it' at the bottom

you then get a page saying you have succesfully listed your item that has a link to look at the listing.

did you get that page/message

also you recieve an email confirming the listing, did you get the email?

Pretty much what scrambler said, it can take 24 hours for new sellers. Easiest way to check if they're live is go into one of your active listings and click on the link under your name to see sellers other items. If you currently have 10 live listings (just plucking numbers), and you list 2 more, and it only says 10 showing, then the other 2 aren't live yet. Check again tomorrow and they will probably be showing up.

I was rather distressed seeing all these fake strawberry seeds (in weird colours, which do not exist like that) and NOT my wonderful, gorgeous plants!!

Trouble with those fake seeds is, so many people get sucked into the scam and they sell like hotcakes. By the time the buyer realises they didn't get what they paid for, it's far too late to do anything about it.

You now have 18 live listings,(including the Strawberry plants),

They also show in the search now.
