Location Search Function - ebay Australia & Australia Only

I have just had a look at the new location search functions, and then searched for items in the category of Childrens Books

The differences in this category were:-

On eBay Australia:- 1,154,462

Australia Only:- 300,038

Worldwide 1,781,022

Quite a difference if people search on the default one which is "On eBay Australia"

That's been the case for a long time, just as we can appear on Worldwide automatically too.

The ones that are registered in Australia, or especially use something like "From UK, via Airmail to, Australia" will show on Australia only.

Destroy the search function and you destroy the experience for the buyer (numbers now collapsing) and you also destroy the sellers,completely.

Has this only been implemented in Australia?

Cause if it has,this is a direct and deliberate attack on soooooo many people here.

What has got ebay Aust' so peeved off to cause them to act in such an atrocious manner???
