Hi, are you still finding March sales abysmal??? I am - Feb and Jan were good but this month has been YUCK. Get lots of watchers, but then no one buys. I set my prices fair and then reduce as much as I can....but still not getting much. Just getting cheesed off.
Interested in finding out your latest update on your sales - if someone else is finding it tuff then I might feel at least I'm not all alone:)

The current online sales trends depict the economy. Online sales are still a very small percentage of the total retail revenue. A big reason for this is a lack of consumer knowledge and confidence to shop online. The quality of my product range has increased. I have weekly sales upto 50% off in nearly every category. My business growth has been very good over the past two years. What has changed is the market not my business knowledge or lack of marketing.
Ebay is a business that markets it's services to sellers, but I feel it lacks marketing campaigns to attract more buyers. The reason Westfield cutomers are prepared to pay high lease costs is because Westfield spends a small fortune on marketing to attract customers and it works.
If it is not the responsibility of Ebay to assist store owners grow their business, why pay the fees...?

For processing your sales and rental space for your advertising on their internet platform, plus a number of other service related cost factors i won't bother going into.
Don't tell me you expect online space and services FOC please?

No point in advertising on a platform which is idle. A portion of the fees are allocated to a marketing/advertising budget and one would assume that would primarily be used to increase traffic to the platform in order to sustain their business which can not survive without Ebay sellers. Ebay sales are limited by the number of customers that are drawn to the internet platform. Therefore it is Ebay's responsibility to increase the traffic flow to the platform through marketing.

Funny thing is that I always thought Ebay needed both buyers and sellers to work properly ๐ฎ
I think you may be suffering from a bad case of the old saying, "A bad workman always blames his tools" because you appear to want Ebay to accept full responsibility for you not achieving high sales figures.
I looked at your store with a buyer's eyes, and to be perfectly honest it did absolutely nothing for me.
