Missing on ebay: overview of products sold.

I am a new ebay seller and I find the whole structure for sellers a bit confusing and to be honest, not very well laid out.

What I most miss is an overview  a table with the products you sold, what, how many, price, price for postage, ADDRESS, real name and payment. The buyers address is most hidden and you really have to search for it.

I don't know if only I find this not to be user friendly or others do think the same.

if you click on the item solds description you will get the listing page for that item. on the left side theres a list of things you can choose. click on view paypal transaction, then log into paypal. click on the buyers payment details, from there you have everything you need plus you can print out a packing slip with all the details to put in with the item when you post.

You really only need to get the buyer's name and address when they pay, not when they buy/win an auction/

The buyer can change the name and address details when they pay by paypal and those are the details you need to use.

Thanks for the answers. I still would like to have all in a list. Address, accessing from that one list all I want, like feedback or what they bought etc. One central list for sellers.

I sell plants so it is important to know were people are. What are they buying in which climate etc. Are they living in cities or in ocuntry towns?....

If I click for example on the item, my own item description comes up - that is the least I want to know, I know my items already, but it could be included in this central list.

The details are only available for 60 days on your selling page any way, so you might be better creating a spreadsheet. I am a complete nong when it comes to stuff like that, so I did a quick google search on how to create a spread sheet and was surprised how easy it was! If you have Micro$oft Excel, google how to use that (if you don't already know), or I use Openoffice.org, so I googled how to use that. The steps were very easy to follow.

I have several spreadsheets for different items, so it's easier for me to see at a glance what I'm looking for. Mine contain the item name, date listed, date sold, price I paid, price I sold, profit, postage amount, buyers name. I just realised I probably should have added a column for fees as well (I'm still learning!).

You could have columns showing all the details you want to see at a glance. You could also have multiple spreadsheets to make it easier. Something like one for succulents, one for flowering, another for shrubs, just as an example.

As I buy new stuff, I add it to my spreadsheet, then when I list it, I just need to add the relevant details. It's saved me from having little pieces of paper all over the place that were at risk of being lost.

If you use selling manager you can select the columns you would like to appear in your selling unsold and sold items.

It displays most of the information you are seeking in a table format format. Whilst buyer address is not an option - buyer postcode is.

You can reorder the columns, add and hide others.

If you do not have a store you will need to subscribe to basic selling manager.  If you have a store you should have been subscribed automatically.  If you have a store you can also upgrade to selling manager pro at no cost.

Information about selling manager is here http://pages.ebay.com/sellerinformation/build-your-business-online/boost-profits/selling-tools/selli...

The pic below shows the overview of the types of information that can be displayed in table format for your sold items is from one of my accounts.

The photo below shows how sold items appear.   Also if you have a store you can select to view only those items from particular store categories for a particular time frame up to 90 days.
