My Items won't show up on ebay in other countries, HELP PLEASE !

Hey guys,

I want to post my items worldwide, and they mostly show up as "posts worldwide", but when i search for them on ebay.com or ebay.co.uk, they just never appear. I spent over an hour with the suport on the chat, the word "useless" is an understatement.

One guy suggested to add custom locations (one by one) and add the prices, what i did for every auction and hoped for the best, but no change.

Yes, i know that it takes a while for the international servers to re-index the auctions, but 24 hours later nothing has happened.

I had the page with the "Cross Border Trade Agreement" shown up today and signed it.

TLDR: Items only on ebay.com.au and not internationl even though they are listed as "posts worldwide"

I am afraid even if they were being seen on other international sites you wouldn't have much chance of getting any buyers as these days most people are not prepared to email asking for postage quotes. It is very easy to use calculated postage, just select the service you will be using and add any P&H fee. Personally there are a raft of countries I would never sell to including the scam capital of the world: Nigeria. there are South American countries where customs charges are very high even on the cheapest of items and buyers just don't collect them. there are places like Italy where a lot of parcels seem to disappear into a black hole never to be seen again.

They will cewrtainly appear higher if you specify postage for each country seperately, you would only have to do it once for each weight level and use those as templates.

You also state no returns without specifying that it only applies to change of mind, you cannot refuse returns if the item is damaged or not as described.

You have to meet certain requirements in order to be searchable on the other sites, including having a minimum of 10 feedback for selling and (I'm pretty sure) a history of selling that's at least 90 days old (to avoid brand new ID's circumventing the restrictions by selling 10 cheap things quickly).

Once those requirements are met, your items should be searchable on the other sites, but to give them the best chance of visibility, you also actually need to specifiy postage costs to the respective countries, even if P&H to the US or UK is the same as your worldwide flat rate.

Yes, i did specify postage for each country seperately for the records i am selling.

Digital_Ghost, i hope you are right with the "10 feedback for selling" requirement until the
items appear on international ebay sites. The situation like it is for me right now is disastrous.
