Hello,
I have some Bon Jovi tickets which I have put up for sale and have set the selling price as $1500.00 for both tickets.
I have since just read a message from Ebay saying, congratulations you have sold your tickets for , wait for it... $10.00!!!
Please explain, I am confused.

You had them listed as an auction starting at $10 and it only got the 1 bid for $10. Did you originally list with with an auction and buy it now? Once a bid has been placed the buy it now disappears. It is not an auction reserve.

I would contact eBay Customer Service asap and ask them to look into the listing and explain that your price was set at $1500. The CS tab is up on the top of the page right hand side, click on the tab Contact eBay and go from there.

If you listed as an auction with a starting price of $10 and a Buy It Now of $1500 then as soon as the buyer placed a bid the BIN price would have disappeared. It is not a Reserve price...there are no reserves on ebay Australia.
You should have listed the tickets with an auction starting price of the amount you would have been happy to receive if only one bid was placed.

regardless of how that happened, I would be in touch with the buyer immediately and explain it was a mistake.

Thank you for your kind words. I did that as soon as I got notification from EBay.

I tried to list them as a sell only and not auction as I am not aware of the rules covering this and as I was posting it for sale a window popped up from EBay saying it is better to list as an auction and post my selling price, which is what I did. I have never sold anything on EBay before, just bought.

I contacted them straight away as soon as they advised me it sold, and said My selling price was not $10.00, it has taken a week for EBay to reply.

what has the buyer said?
I'm not too sure what eBay can do to help you to be honest, you have entered into a legally binding contract that the winning bidder has every right to enforce if they want to.
