A buyer recently left negative feedback (with out contacting me) that the item he purchased was a new item and not authentic. When I contacted him he was very hash. I believed the item to be an authentic piece. I advised I would pay for an appraisal of the item . He conceded he would take the item to an antique centre at my expense. The buyer nominated the centre in his state. I onforwarded photos of the item and details to the centre. The reply came back from the centre that the item was authentic and the dates of production. When i sent this through to the buyer the response was he was still taking the item in last Wednesday. Hence no response from the buyer from now on and will not respond to my requestes. Where is the justice when a buyer can leave negative feedback at will and damage a persons integrity. The item has been appraised and is authentic!! It makes you wonder about ebay and there ETHICS!!! No sellers rights.

You need to ring ebay, and ask them to review the feedback. By rights they should remove it, as you now have the authentication.
