This might be an old issue , however i have noticed recently with some non paying buyers that you cant give them negative feedback. You can give positive feedback with a negative comment but not negative or nuetral options. The thing with this is that they gain more points towards stars etc. So in reality you could buy 50 items , not pay and if all the angry sellers leave feedback that person could get themselves a blue star. I think this is something that needs to be fixed. Apart from the annoyance of non paying buyers , its the nuisance of having to get back final value fee's etc.

You can only give positive and neutral feedback to buyers.
Be careful giving an negative/Positive feedback.... Its against the rules and you can get in trouble.

Sellers should never EVER leave positive feedback with a negative comment.
The best way to combat non payers is to issue a non paying strike by initiating a non paying dispute - that can be done after 4 days and closed after another 4 days. They get a non payer strike against their account and you get your fees back.

Feedback is completely voluntary so just don't leave any.

this topic has been canvassed many times in these forums. Don't be surprised if many regular posters choose to not contribute to this thread. Those that have had non-paying buyers in recent times will tend to post and agree that something needs to be done. It can lead to a false sense that there is overwhelming/widespread support for sellers being allowed to leave negatives.
If every seller that has a non-paying buyer goes through the unpaid item process they will not only get their final value fees back they will help to shut out non-paying members as sellers can block members with two or more strikes in the last 12 months. Non-paying tends to be pattern behaviour, as eveidenced by sellers who leave them false +ve feedback. If just two of those early sellers followed the rules then a lot of the later false positives would not be needed as the buyer would be unable to bid/buy for quite some time.

Didnt pay for item ,no communication ,please dont bid if you wont pay, relisted!
Just one example that I found in your feedback-only had a quick look- left for buyers-hope you realise that if they complained to ebay,it would be YOU with the policy violation.

It is in a sellers interest to be aware that it is breach of ebay policy to leave a negative comment with a positive rating for a buyer, and if reported it will be removed by ebay.
As with all things, knowing that this is the case, it is over to each individual seller to determine their course of action. What represents a negative or a positive is of course, quite subjective.

Any seller who is numpty enough to leave false pos feedback does themselves, and other sellers, a grave disservice.
It achieves absolutely nothing other than put buyers off buying their items as I would not deal with a seller who was prepared to violate a very clear ebay policy, if they will do it over feedback why should I trust anything else they do or say is as it should be.
Most sellers do not check the feedback of early bidders who are few and far between these days and even when sellers could leave negs it did not stop snipers or BINs.
As already pointed out the numpty seller can end up with a policy violation recorded against their account, which can effect their BM plascing, and lose the TRS ststus. They can also have their FVF reversed as leaving feedback signifies a transaction has taken place rather than it having been cancelled by the UID process. Worse still the buyer's strike will almost certainly be removed too so you have left all sensible sellers who have our blocks in place open to being hit by them.

feedback on ebay for sellers is a complete scham sellers are not allowed to leave negative feedback no matter how dishonest a buyer they are, yes ebay needs to change this system a class action against them needs to be started over there dishonesty and denial of free speech.
