How many people have noticed in recent times since ebay took away our rites as sellers to leave negative feedback for buyers that do the wrong thing that the rise in non payment has staggered. I was also informed today that even tho we now only have the option to click on possitive feedback that we are not allowed to leave negative comments..what a joke!!!!! how does this protect sellers against timewasting frauds....What a disgrace!!!!

eBay does not suspend buyers for non payment - you as the seller need to do that by setting your own blanket blocks.
Not to mention - the ridiculous seller that leaves a negative remark on a postivive dot - then complains because eBay don't do anything, how can eBay possibly know you had a NPB if all you do is reward that buyer with ANOTHER positive dot.
BTW - just so you know, when the buyer gets the 'negative comment' removed, the green dot stay's, so thank you to all sellers who help these buyers with the scores. Well done.
The mind boggles.

I accept your point that the non-paying buyer getting a "positive" feedback with a negative comment is 'helping' that non-paying buyer's feedback score, but personally I have found other sellers' negative comments which have to be entered under "positive feedback" very useful in deciding what to do when I am suspicious about a bidder or buyer - if they have several negative comments about non-payment, I will canccel their bid and block them, and if they have bought a fixed price item I will refer the purchase to the unpaid item dispute as soon as possible (5 days after purchase) and close the case 4 days later, so that I can get the FVF refund and relist the unpaid item ASAP, rather than waiting for longer as I usually do with "tardy payers".

What if eBay forgot about their own agenda re. feedback left by sellers and let us tell it AS IT IS???

I see your point, I really do, and while I don't like that sellers use the green dot to vent against a buyer, (bearing in mind the seller can be punished for doing so) I do admit it can be helpful at times.
But bottom line - there is a policy in place, (whether I/you/they agree with it) and if we all followed that policy then the system would have a good chance of working and working well.
It may not be what we all want or would like, but it is what eBay have put in place, and if we want to play in their playground without being hurt, we need to follow the procedures we have been given - simple.

Because when they did that, it was **bleep** for tat no matter what - a seller was annoyed with a buyer - neg feedabck - a buyer left neg for a seller (well deserved, but no matter) guess what?? buyer got the same in retaliation.
I never want to see neg FB come back for buyer's - but I would like the strikes for non payment visible on their account as feedback is on ours. (sellers).
