Just sold an item which was picked up from my front door by the buyer. He had already paid via eBay and I scanned the QR code which he presented to me on his phone. That was a week ago and the order status indicates that the item has been picked up and paid for but payment to me is still on hold pending QR code scan. I have contacted the buyer who has indicated that he no longer has access to the QR code (for a re-scan). So what happens now and how do you actually get to talk to someone at eBay (seems impossible)?

Is it on hold because of the QR code, or, because you are seen as a 'new seller' by eBay (it shows your last feedback as a seller was 'more than a year ago') your payment would be on hold for 30 days anyway?
eBay Help is at the top of every page
But if it is a hold due to being a 'new seller' then you need to wait like every other 'new' seller
Are the other items you sold showing any message about having the funds on hold at all ? (assuming buyers have paid)?

I have already been paid for other transactions prior to that one (all in the last week or so).

If you do use eBay Help, please keep in mind that the base level CS staff just type whatever their script says
Something like holds on funds (for whatever reason) is not something they can 'do' anything about
You may need to speak to a supervisor
Unless a member who has had experience using the QR code for selling (which I have'nt) is around and can help you with advice specific to that
Good luck
