I received an email today and I have sent it straight to spoof@ebay, please beware of it & do not click on the links. It is the first time I have seen one like this and looks very genuine.
This is some of the content and it did actually have my name.
"You have received a payment of AU $213.99 for your recently sold item on eBay.
Since this payment exceeds AU $100, you must confirm your eBay account, otherwise your selling rights on eBay would be revoked and you will no longer sell on the eBay platform."

I had the exact same email go to my ebay seller email address. I wouldn't have worried about it (poor grammar) but it had my actual name at the start.
My ebay email address is only used for ebay (not paypal) and doesn't appear on my website. (If you google it it gives no results). I don't normally get spam on it.
I've only bought two items this year, both from well-established reputable sellers.
So how did the phishers get my email and personal name?
