Postage of items 10 ~ 30 kgs

Greetings,

Does anyone have any experience in calculating postage cost and sell prices for otems from a fixed location to anywhere within australia?

I am not real confident in just having to guess at costs.

Question 2

Can anyone recomment acourier company that can integrate with ebay for aforementioned postage decisions?

I have been a tad distracted so sorry for the late response.

I would be bald in a month but I appreciate your comments.

I know of some sellers that do do that ut I cannot afford to stick my neck out that far.

Being from Sydney, I am half thinking that I could rule out the major uninhabited areas (like NT, Far Nth QLD, rural WA etc) and go with 5 or so different localities each with it's own freight rate, i.e. melbourne & vic are essentially the same, 1 for adelaide, 1 for Perth & even 1 for Darwin.

Each postal location would then need its own Ad, I wonder if this would work.

I just use the freight option and wait for a buyer to ask. The fact you can send 10kg to a neighbouring state from $12 to the otherside of australia at $80 makes having a freight calculator needed. Most of them will have one you can use just not sure how it works with ebay listings. Best thing prices are cheap compared to couriers or Aust Post without the need to send large volumes of items every week.
