Posting bulky items

Hi

I am wondering who people use when they are sending bulky items in the post? I am going to be selling pedal cars which weigh about 12 kg and measure 100 x 45 x 50 and am getting some really ridiculous quotes from couriers. We are based in Tamworth NSW.
