I've had a number of transactions over the past couple of weeks where the buyer has sent a message saying they are unable to pay and have received a note from eBay saying the 'seller won't send the item to your primary postal address'.
All of our listings are available Australia wide. I contacted eBay and they could see nothing wrong with the checkout process or postage policy on our listings.
Has anyone else has this problem and found a solution?

One of the ways that happens is if you send by courier and they only have a Post Office box,(a courier
can't deliver to a PO box).
Others are probably courier related as well,eg: outside a "zone",not accessible via courier, etc.

Thanks for your reply, we send all our packages by Aus Post and this particular address is not a PO Box. A mystery.

It is glitch which pops up every so often for some reason. Often it happens when the last item on a multiple quantity listing sells.
If you send them the invoice that usually corrects the problem.

Contact the seller and ask them if they can send you an invoice as you are having trouble paying - that will usually fix the problem

Thats a buggar Donna. We have Instant Payment as that seems to eliminate this problem as we have never had a buyer say they have tried to buy but couldn't due to a problem with their address.

It happens when the customer is paying from a mobile phone and for some reason it can't ratify their address.
Perhaps it is something like the following which is not a verifiable address (though I am not sure on this part)
AB Facey
123 Madeup Lane
Westmeadows, Melbourne
Victoria, 3049
But for us it happens a lot and 100% of the time it is when the customer if paying via mobile phone. If the customer pays from their computer it works or if I send them a follow up invoice and ask them to specifically just pay the invoice, then that works.
I would suggest we have had this issue 50+ times this year.
It is very annoying and I wish ebay would resolve it.
