I wish to list some new items and with Australia Post changing their system I am unsure where to go...My items are mainly Cards which can be shipped in a standard envelope with free postage and a 1 day Handling Time. I cannot find Priority Post in eBays options where is it? I am steadly going through my listings and changing the Hanlling Time to 5 Days but how do i have the Priority Post Option.

I didn't ssee your post and have just posted a similar question. i have been on ebay chat just now and they had no idea. the guy i was chatting to said he would send a messgae through to the relevant person and said he is sure their technicians are already working on it? Hmmm... anyway, i was trying to get organised for next week but seems we'll have to wait ๐

Since eBay don't actually provide any specific postage option for letter post (only standard postage which could mean anything), I doubt they are even considering adding an option for Priority letter post.
If you have been offering free postage, you could just increase all your prices by 50c, leave them at free post and send Priority post every time. No need to give the buyer an option at all.

Yes, there will be the issue of the price going up for large letters as well. Up to 125g goes from $1.40 to $2.00. 125-250g goes from $2.10 to $3.00. Over 250g goes from $3.50 to $5.00. So we will need to factor in this increased cost as well as the priority large letter option if ebay gets around to updating their pstage options.

I don't. I never use 'standard' postage, as such. I bought up on C5 prepaid envelopes at $1.70 each. Good for 500g.
Plus a few C4s at $3.42 each.
Probably 12 months worth of each.
Pays to plan ahead.

That's a good idea to buy the prepaid, but I buy the Tb2 toughbags as they offer more protection to the contents and being A4 size, I can pack larger items like tshirts nice and flat.

The new letter rate increases from 70c to 41, ie plus 30c and prioty is 50c extra, so the inrease is actually 80c plus 9c for extra ebay & PayPal fees...soy 90c.
