Has anyone got an explanation as to why when I try to relist from the unsold list that is the longer one or the Turbo lister on items that have not been listed for months I get a "you can't relist this because you've selected to automatically relisted it.

That happens when an item with autorelist fails to relist at the end of it's cycle. It goes to unsold and you can't then manually relist it. Sometimes the relist comes to life later and it appears in the active listings list but still stays in unsold, check there first to make sure it isn't already active, and if it is not, use sell similar to list it and then delete the old one.

I get a different message to Penny when something doesn't relist. It usually says something along the lines of "this item didn't automatically relist." Last week I had one relist but it also stayed in Unsold with that message on it. It was with a batch of similar items so it was easy enough to check and it had definitely relisted at the same time as its mates.
I usually get the "you can't relist this because you've selected to automatically relist it" when I manually relist something and then the next page fails to load after I hit the confirm button. When I refresh/reload the page I get the last page of the listing process again, even though the listing has already gone through. The system won't allow me to hit the confirm button again and I get the same message as you. I usually double check that the item has listed but they always have.

With thanks for those who helped me with the above problem. Have finally worked out how to relist without the dreaded red notice at the top of the relisting. Glad there are so many helpful people out there.
