Hello all can you sell a starters pistol on ebay, this gun looks like the real thing, it takes caps and is loud cheers.

It might depend whether -- as a pistol -- it can be classified as a firearm.

I work in a school. When we used to use a starter's pistol for athletic events the starter had to have a current and valid firearms licence.
We haven't used the pistol for years. Not sure if the school even still has the pistol. We now use a megaphone that makes a loud "BEEP" sound and also has a camera flash attached so that timekeepers can see when the event started.
I would imagine that there would be restrictions regarding selling a starters pistol on eBay. Maybe a call to the police would help you find out.

Yes just googled it you have to have a licence in nsw, anyway it is part of a deceaced estate so it will go to the cops, i wonder if they will give me any compensation for it LOL.
