Sales totals

Hi, I am looking for help regarding sales totals. I go to seller dashboard and my sales totals are shown in US Dollars.I am located in Australia and only sell to Australia. Is it possible to change to AU Dollars? If so, how do I do it?

I thank you all for your time, input and help. Regards, Patricia.

Sales totals

Thank you for your advice and information.. I am a very old lady (85 this year) and allowing for age, spread sheet is beyond my capability.I can only do the basics so the easiest would be for me to note the totals on the monthly invoices and then add them up.I just want to make sure that I do not exceed the amount allowed before eBay inform the taxation department. I do not make high volume sales so I do not think that is likely.I just like to keep informed for my own satisfaction.

Many thanks to all for your kindness, time and advice which is much appreciated.Regards, Patricia.

The dashboard always shows US dollars, I don't think you can change that.  But your myEBay page shows AU$ and you can record that each month before it changes to 0 on the 1st of the next month.  Also, if you click the Account tab in myeBAy, you can print off each monthly invoice and it will show all your fees in AU$ as well.  Personally, I keep a spreadsheet in which I record the details of each sale as they occur and it keeps the running tally for me, including fees for eBay and Paypal, and a section where I can record any expenditure such as postage and packing materials, stationery etc.  Makes it easy for the accountant at tax time.

Cheers,

Just google currency converter and put in US dollars on one prompt and Australian dollars on the other. At present 1 us dollar is worth $1.30 Australian.

Sales totals

The problem is that gives you current conversion rates, not the ones that applied at the time.

On each month's invoice it has the total monthly sales as well as the fees, I believe - all in Australian dollars.  Just remember that they don't take off any sales that aren't paid for so you need to keep a record of those and subtract them yourself.
