Has anybody got this seller goal tracker email?,
So far from what ive read you set a goal and get a voucher if you reach the goal and first listing is fee free.

Seller goal tracker

No. I'm not holding my breath.

Plus, if eBay is rewarding for completing sales goals, you can bet the seller/s will fall JUST short of the goal.

Yes I received it on my other ID - the one that has barely sold a single thing in the last month to 6 weeks (since I set up 30 day - 3 free re-lists & increased handling to 2 days actually).  I had one sale yesterday, but I actually referred the buyer to that ID from this one.

Having lost any sort of place in search results I once had, changing the re-lists back to the way things were has not helped Smiley Sad

I must say I chuckled to myself when I read it - and thought, yeah sure - I'll bet if I was to set a goal of $200, I'd end up with $198 - hahahaha, maybe that's the answer - set the goal ridiculously high - at least they might give us some exposure Smiley LOL

Unfortunately youโ€™re not eligible to participate in this program

Understandable as even this ID has regular sales. I doubt the offer is going to be for regular sellers. More likely dormant or buyer accounts. You don't get something for nothing around here.

What is very strange, is up until about 6 weeks ago my other ID had regular sales - not a huge number, but given it was a relatively new ID, I wasn't expecting any huge overnight success - but then all sales completely stopped - dormant being the operative word !!

Yep, I got it too, and I'm not a dormant user or a buyer, just a casual seller (about 10 sales a week).

I don't have high hopes in meeting the goal (just chose $200), but I plan to end & relist all my items (that don't have current bids) so that if they do sell, at least I'm exempt from FVF.

Hmm. I just got the offer in my inbox a few minutes ago. I would consider myself to be a regular seller -- I average around 500 sales per year -- however, all the stuff that I sell is extremely low value (generally $4 to $6 incl. post), so maybe it's meant to be an incentive to sell higher value stuff?? Haven't read too much about it yet.

I got it on my 2 main accounts, but not on my new one (which has only sold 2 things). I'm not sure if I'll sign up for it or not. I'm not normally a skeptical person, but there has to be a catch somewhere. As you said, you don't get something for nothing around here.

I wish it turned up last week when I had a mondo week!

Hi Tippy. I read through all the terms and conditions a couple of times, and there seemed to be nothing to lose by signing up, so I went for it. The only "risk" would be selecting the $500 or $1000 option and then not achieving that goal, but all that means is no free voucher, and you still get your FVF credited for your first listing sold in the time frame. Personally speaking, I went with the $200 option just because I definitely know that I can achieve that by the end of June. No sense in pushing myself to have $500 of sales in 6 six weeks.

Given the whole June 30 deadline, I took this promotion as some sort of EOFY sweep, trying to get in as much revenue for eBay before the first of July... and what better way than to entice sellers to list more expensive items or larger volumes of items? Seems a sensible promotion for eBay to offer and if there's a catch, I sure I can't spot one...
