Seller has disappeared - what can I do

Hi There

I purchased One Direction Tickets in February, the seller could not send them until July as they were not yet released by Ticketek.

The seller has now disappeared & I have no tickets, they had 5000 sales so I thought they were trustworthy.

Any advice how I can get my tickets?

Georgia

If you paid by credit card you may be able to contact your bank to follow up but sadly I think the chances of getting the tickets...and them actually being valid are pretty slim. Although in saying that my tickets have not yet arrived. I was told they were delayed and had started to be sent out last week. Ours should be here by next week. Good luck and listen to the radio etc as I'm sure there will some giveaways coming up!

Thanks for that :). I have just found the seller is under another name so I am hoping to hear from them or I will be spamming every listing they have!

Ours were meant to arrive last week, but nothing yet. I wouldn't be overly concerned just yet!

what exactly do you mean by spamming?

If you are meaning that you will bid on their items and not honour the bid if you win then this will result in you receiving policy violations and possible sanctions from eBay for auction interference.

If you mean hitting the 'buy-now' button on his fixed price listings then you will likely end up with non-paying bidder strikes that will prevent you from buying from any seller with bidder blocks in place.

If you mean sending the seller multiple questions in an effort to waste their time answering (or most likely ignoring) then the seller will likely put you on their Blocked Bidder List and check the box that prevents blocked bidders from contacting them.

You wrote in your Opening Post that the seller has over 5000 feedback, so you are not dealing with a newbie.  I would caution you to tread carefully as anything you do to try to get back at them should they not respond to your message will most likely backfire on you.

I would be paranoid at this stage as to why seller has switched accounts and has not responded to your messages. Credit cards will only do chargebacks if under a certain amount of time, with my credit cards 3 months. Have you tried to call the person? Call PayPal and request they provide you the phone number of the seller as I do not think you can get it now by running a request as thr sale is greater than 60 days and not in your purchase history.

Sounds like you might have to report it to the Online fraud squad.

They state that it's the Queensland online fraud squad but they handle all of Aus.
