Selling limits on new sellers- is it worth asking for them to be raised?

I have just put up my first ten listings, and understand that there is a restriction on the number of items I can list- fair enough. But a popup appears suggesting i apply for an increase in my limit- is this worthwhile? has anybody done it and been successful?

Yes but it was for a second account. I don't think they actually increased it by much and they said I could ask again a month later. I can't seem to find it on my primary account if it has one.

They didn't increase it by much because I only had a couple of feedback so they say.

If you link the account to a selling account you have more feedback on that will usually increase your limits.

Failing that, linking your credit card (or Visa/Mastercard debit) should increase your limits to 100 items/$7,500 per month.

As you have a well established account, albeit for buying, it should be relatively easy.  It shows that you are a real person, not scam artist.  But it will depend on what are you selling; if it is something that is often fake then you will have to get bit of FB under your belt before they let you sell more.

just click on that link and take it from there; it will tell you what to do.
