Send by click & send but paid by BD

Buyer paid by bank deposit so if I send by Click & Send I would be covered,(proof of postage).

What happens if the parcel went missing?

Do I get compensated as it's not the buyers fault but AP.

Or would it be better to send by registered post?

It's in a Bx2 box,but would have to be transferred to a Bx4 box as the weight is over 2kg,(C & S alows 15kg for the Bx2)

You can use the Flat rate Bx2 box and add Signature on delivery for an extra $1 which gives you the same insurance as sending an item with Registered Post (up to $100).

If the item is worth more than $100 you will need to send it registered or select "Own packaging" in C&S as you cannot add extra cover with the Flat rate boxes or satchels.

Each of the Flat rate boxes has a weight limit of 15kgs. Why do you need to change to a Bx4 if it fits into the smaller box?

If the buyer paid by bank deposit then they can't initiate an Item Not Received dispute.

With Sport here. A B2 box can weigh up to 15kgs.

Just nominate Tracking and Signature with C & S and you are automatically covered for up to $100.00 If it's worth more than $100.00 and you want it covered then Registered Post is the only way to go because ebay special rate items can't be insured over $100.00.

Thanks.

I would have had to swap to the bigger if sending by Australia post as the Bx2 is only rated for 2 kg and it weighs over that.

Will send with signature.

15kgs limit for all 3 box sizes but maybe you are referring to your item(s) being too bulky for the B2 box.

Stuff...

the 2 kgs may be the cubed weight for a B2 box but if you enter 00076 in the search box ( where you put ebay satchel promo codes ) then you don't have to enter the weight and it's fine up to 15kgs. Tracking & Signature ( to cover you up to $100 ) is $1.00 extra.

just found out in another thread that we don't have to use the codes anymore, the new click and send site has a drop down boxes where you can nominate B1 B2 or B4 and it automatically puts in 15 kg.    A good change I think.

How cute is the new drop down. It really begs the question "Why aren't the ebay satchels there as well ?"...nice start though.
